囊胚期胚胎移植囊胚期胚胎移植近年被廣泛採用，這或許給您帶來更佳的成功率。這是當胚胎發育至第5天時作胚胎移植。這個時候，胚胎約有60-100個細胞，它們主要分佈在胚胎的外圍(此部份會發展為胎盤)及內層(此部份會發展為胎兒)。囊胚期胚胎移植現為第3天移植以外的另一選擇。它被生殖醫學科專科醫生廣泛接受是因為它比以往慣用的第3天移植可帶來以下好處：成功率較高要知道並不是每個第3天的胚胎都能成功發育到第5天，大概有一半的胚胎會停止發育，這是自然界的正常淘汰現象。胚胎專家監察胚胎發育的進展，可更有把握地挑選質素佳的胚胎作移植，從而將成功率由以往的35%提升至50%。減少胚胎移植數目由於能更準確挑選胚胎，令成功率提升，故此所移植的胚胎數量可得以減少，減低多胎妊娠的機會。多胎妊娠對胎兒及孕婦均相當危險，流產、胎死腹中、早產而致初生嬰體重過輕都是多胎妊娠的常見問題。有些夫婦是較適合採用囊胚期胚胎移植的，如：若選擇囊胚期胚胎移植，需明白可供移植的胚胎數目會比第3天可供移植的約減少一半，但有些夫婦的胚胎流失率會多於一半。...
